  MULTIFOIL TM - Multilayer Blown Film Lines

Multifoil co-ex blown film lines are backed by proven engineering experience of Rajoo for over two decades and are available in the widest range from two layer configuration for general purpose packaging film to nine layer line for barrier and technical grade films with output ranging from 120kg/hr to 1200 kg/hr and lay-flat width ranging from 600mm to 5000mm.

Multifoil lines are available with advanced automation features like integrated gsm control, gravimetric blending and dosing, contact/non-contact type IBC system with pneumatic/digital correction, automatic thickness control, fully automatic center-gap-surface winder and integrated process control. A range of system solutions can be configured to adapt to the ultimate processing needs.

UCD – Universal Co-ex Die Head (a stack die system with horizontal melt path) is an indigenous innovation for incorporation into MULTIFOIL blown film lines is completely modular and gives tremendous flexibility to processor and can be also upgraded from two layers to nine layers co-ex configuration. Such UCD dies are in the market since 2000 and are proven successful.

Rajoo is the only Asian supplier of dedicated multilayer blown film lines for producing FFS film for use in resin sacks. As the film will have to match with the machine speed and will also have to pass through stringent handling conditions including prolonged exposure to sunlight calling for high puncture resistance, the extrusion of such film calls for quite sophisticated blown film lines. Rajoo has experience of supplying several such lines in India and abroad.

MULTIFOIL – Multi layer co-extrusion blown film lines are available in a wide range of configurations from two to nine layers to produce variety of films like lamination grade films, liquid packaging films, ultra high barrier films, high dart FFS resin sacks films, meat and cereal packaging films, oil packaging films, pharma and medical grade films, pallet hooding shrink/stretch films, green house films, silage and mulch films, geomembrane and chemical / soap packaging films.

FABREX TM - PP Nonwoven Fabric Making Machines

Rajoo pioneered developments in PP Non woven fabric extrusion and has emerged as the only Indian supplier with production capacity ranging from 200 to 500kg/hr and fabric weight range from 12 to 150 gsm depending on applications.

Nonwoven fabrics are broadly defined as sheet or web structures bonded together by entangling fibre or filaments (and by perforating films) mechanically, thermally or chemically. They are flat, porous sheets that are made directly from separate fibres or from molten plastic or plastic film. Typically, certain percentage of recycled fabrics may be used in nonwoven fabrics. The percentage of recycled fabrics varies based upon the strength of material needed for the specific use. Conversely, some nonwoven fabrics can be recycled after use, given proper treatment and facilities. For this reason, some consider nonwovens a more ecological fabric for certain applications, especially in fields and industries where disposable or single use products are important, such as hospitals, schools, nursing homes and luxury accommodations.

Nonwoven fabrics are engineered fabrics that may be a limited life, single-use fabric or a very durable fabric. Nonwoven fabrics provide specific functions such as absorbency, liquid repellence, resilience, stretch, softness, strength, flame retardant, washable, cushioning, filtering, use as a bacterial barrier and sterility. These properties are often combined to create fabrics suited for specific jobs, while achieving a good balance between product use-life and cost. They can mimic the appearance, texture and strength of a woven fabric and can be as bulky as the thickest paddings. In combination with other materials they provide a spectrum of products with diverse properties, and are used alone or as components of apparel, home furnishings, health care, engineering, industrial and consumer goods.

  LAMiNATM - PS/PP/ABS/rPET/EVA Sheet Lines

LAMINA series of sheet lines are designed for absolute ease of operation and are available in a host of configurations to suit individual customer's requirements with output ranging from 110 kg/hr to 1000 kg/hr, width ranging from 540 mm to 1400 mm, in single to five layer configuration for processing various polymers like PS, PP, PE and PET. Lamina rPET sheet line is a star performer suitable to process PET bottle flakes to produce sheet for various applications including thermoforming .

LAMINA incorporates advanced features like gravimetric blending / dosing, grooved / smooth feed barrier screw extruder, vented extruder, melt pump, continuous screen changer, independently driven vertical/horizontal/inclined polishing rolls stack, air knife, online thickness monitoring / controlling system, anti-static bath, sheet accumulator, Unitilt polishing roll stack for dual requirement of thick and thin sheets, in-line sheet cutter and dual turret winder based on end use. User friendly controllers and indicators located at various operating stations provide for ease in monitoring and control of various critical processing parameters.

  FOMEX TM - PS/PE Foam Extrusion Lines

Key features

Rajoo has done pioneering developments in polymer foam extrusion in India and have emerged as the only supplier of foam extrusion lines christened Fomex using both blown film (Fomex – B) and sheet extrusion (Fomex – S) process using either chemical or physical foaming. Rajoo offers foam extrusion solutions to produce foam with low density of 0.02 kg/m3 to medium density of 0.22 kg/m3 and also high density foam with density of 0.45 kg/m3.

Fomex – S sheetlines are offered in capacities from 140kg/hr to 250kg/hr and density range of 0.22 to 0.02 using different physical blowing agents. Rajoo is proud to claim that more than 90% of cap liners and foamed banners / calendars in India are produced on FOMEX .

Rajoo offers PS foam sheet line and vacuum formers in technical collaboration with world leaders -Commodore Inc., U.S.A. These lines are capable of producing fine quality PS foam sheet with butane or pentane as physical blowing agent which is then converted into vacuum foamed articles like trays, dishes, lunch boxes, etc.

Fomex incorporates advanced features like high pressure gas injection pump, volumetric / gravimetric 4 component master batch dosing unit mounted on hopper block, melt pressure transducers, hydraulic continuous screen changer with micro processor based circular water temperature controller units, static charge eliminators, automatic turret winder etc based on end application

 

The blown foamed films find applications in banners, wall-calendars and host of other stationery items whereas medium density expanded PE sheets are extensively used for bottle cap liners and low density expended PE film in general packaging and mattresses.
